Shadow Productions has taken its
final bow.
During the last two decades, our
custom designed interactive mysteries, CSI: Calgary and Stage West
for Kids productions, our mysteries & musical on the Alberta
Prairie Rail excursions, our mainstage productions such as Agnes
of God and Arsenic & Old Lace have entertained tens of thousands
of guests. The ensemble of professional actors – who are
Shadow Productions – would like to thank you for your patronage
over the years.

The Company
Calgary Murder Mystery
Dinner Theatre
Since
its roots in Aurora Stage in 1986, Shadow Productions presented
thousands of custom designed evenings for corporate clients and
individuals, as well as public events at the Deane House & Stage
West.
Family Theatre
For
the children in all of us, we created a unique blend of scripted & improvisational
takes on many classic fairy tales through Stage West For Kids
- introducing a generation of children to the inimitable experience
of live theatre ... with a kid-friendly buffet to boot!
CSI: Calgary
This
new mixture was mystery, comedy and pop culture in a blender
. The audience didn't just ask “Whodunnit” ...
they got to vote, and decide " Youdunnit!”.
Calgary Theatre Professionals
The
Shadow Productions ensemble has generally included about 30 actors
at any one time. The alumni list numbers over 150 performers & technichians,
most of whom are professionals who got their start in the Calgary
theatre community, and many of whom either have, or who now live & work
in Vancouver, Toronto, Los Angeles, Las Vegas ... on stage, in
film, in television.
Shadow
remains the only interactive professional theatre company in
the west engaging professional performers through arrangement
with the Canadian Actors' Equity
Association.
You
never knew who might turn up at a Shadow Murder Mystery - it
could be someone you’d seen on stage at Theatre Calgary,
ATP, Lunchbox, Stage West, or any number of television or film
